In Lesson 9 we considered Paul's claim that Jesus wants to set us free just so that we can enjoy freedom for freedom's sake. That's a lot of freedom. Maybe more than we can handle. Probably more than we can even fathom. We live in a world enslaved to sin and death. That's all we've ever known; and in spite of all of our big talk, the thought of true freedom may scare us to death. Jesus wants you and me to be free, pure and simple. It's part of being delivered from this present evil age (Gal. 1:3-4). We've spent some time talking about what we need to be free from. Now it's time to see what we are free to become. I hope you can be present this week for:
Lesson 10: Free To Be and Free To Become (Gal. 5:16-25)
And if we think being truly free is more than we can handle, don't worry. Divine assistance is available.
