Our Elders
John Dean
John Dean is a lifelong resident of Hamblen and Jefferson counties. He is a graduate of Morristown High School, Tennessee Tech University and Lincoln Memorial University. John spent his career in education, having worked with various school systems in east Tennessee. John and his wife Brenda have one grown daughter.

Jim Dempster
Jim Dempster is originally from Knoxville but moved with his wife Cherie to Morristown in 1980 and was baptized later that year. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he is now retired from his work as an engineer. Jim and his wife Cherie have two children and three grandchildren. In addition to serving as an elder, Jim helps translate our services into Spanish for those needing such assistance.

David Willbanks
David Willbanks was raised in Chattanooga and is a graduate of David Lipscomb College and University of Tennessee Medical Units. Now retired, he served as a pediatrician with Hamblen Pediatric Associates in Morristown for over forty years. Prior to coming to Morristown, David and his late wife Kathryn spent two years in Cameroon on a medical mission. He continues to go on medical mission trips with Latin American Missions. David has four children, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Our Minister
Originally from West Virginia, Blaine Kelly has served as minister at Morristown since 2010. He previously served as campus minister in West Virginia and as youth minister in Kentucky. Blaine is a 2003 graduate of Marshall University and 2005 graduate of what is now Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Knoxville. He and his wife Caroline are the blessed parents of two girls and a boy.
